1/144 Discovery XD-1 Pod Bay (for Moebius)

Add a fully detailed pod bay to Moebius’ Discovery XD-1 kit from the classic film “2001: A Space Odyssey”. Based on the studio blueprints, engineered for lighting and photoetched from thick 0.01” brass for easy folding, this set contains:

• Air conditioning vents.
• Pod egress platforms. Bonus: Platforms are made to fit 1.6mm and 2.4mm brassrod/tubing (not included) so that they can be extended from the hull.
• Air conditioning vents.
• Test bench.
• Space suit storage mount with empty suits.

Please note that this Pod Bay and Paragrafix Cockpit & Airlock (PGX-210) can not be installed at the same time.  The scale changed somewhat during filming due to changes in the miniatures; as a result the two sets, while accurate to the fiming model, will not work together well.
